Message	it seems to me the hardest part would be removing the headlight housings from the car. Access to the housings sounds like it would be worth it to take off the front fascia, which is pretty easy, just a bit cumbersome, esp if you have an extra pair of hands. I would have the inside of the housings profesionally chromed, and forego the spray paint.
